Until I finally did get to read and finish the book only then did I realize that it did not manage to deliver what I was expecting from the intriguing, sexy and forbidden blurb.

Let's be honest- this was expected to be very hot and explicit and Nikki Sloane did not let me down in that department! The sex- ohmygoodness, ohmygoodness and ohmygoodness! Hands down ten times as this may be one of the sexiest and hottest intimate scenes I have ever read in a short and quick-paced book! Prepare for these steamy episodes as you may need to fan yourself or blast the air condition in your face throughout the book! (Need I remind you that there are sensitive contents involved so please be advised- otherwise, carry on!)

However, the flow of the story was simply TOO FAST-PACED and TOO SHORT. In my most honest opinion, you cannot write such a forbidden story that is REALLY SHORT AND ABRUPT! I was fearing the story when I was at the middle of the book and how the plot was just about to take its place. I feel the ending was RUSHED and that the time-lapse for the future should have been YEARS. If the story wanted to be clipped then the best epilogue would probably been after a few years to create an ending fit for this type of story line. Unfortunately, that did not happen and only became MONTHS.

Another issue for me is that- this was just way too fucked up and the pace like I said of how things went to normal was simply too far-fetched. I've read fucked up stories but the timing and placing wasn't just exactly possible because hello, it was TOO BLOODY FAST AND NOT ENOUGH TIME FOR THE STORY TO ROUND THE STORY SMOOTHLY and came out entirely IMPOSSIBLE. It wasn't easy to be in their respective positions when the bomb exploded on their faces so I feel that MORE TIME WAS REQUIRED to keep the scenarios more applicable and believable in real life. In the case of The Doctor book, it came out like it was some MAGIC out of nowhere then poof- things fell back right to places. 

I was really having a hard time absorbing these events when it was really far from possible, in my opinion. I really, really had high hopes for this book and I wanted to love every bit of it! (I wish I had the same positive response from other readers out there!)

Nevertheless, I'm waiting for this author to blow my mind, not only with sexy scenes but with the entire flow of the story in the nearest future! Looking forward to it, Miss Nikki Sloane!
